It is the acronym Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board, It is an Approved, Proven & Certified Advanced level programme moderated by OAU and UNILAG and having the coordinating body in various tertiary institutions and different study centres nationwide. The full meaning of IJMB is Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination. IJMB is an advanced level programme established in 1977 by ABU, Zaria. IJMB was established as an alternative to JAMB and for securing university admission into 200Level. IJMB requires NO JAMB NOR PUTME and even accept awaiting result for registration. Furthermore, the certificate obtainable does not expire and guaranteed 200L admission instead of the usual 100L admission given by JAMB.
